Coronavirus (COVID-19) is impacting all our lives in many different ways. Not being in control of what is happening right now has resulted in unprecedented levels of fear and anxiety. This affects people mentally, emotionally and physically, resulting in everything from sleeping problems to making decisions. We understand it isn't easy, but there are ways we can help you reduce stress and feel a lot more at ease.
In this workshop, our therapeutic coach will introduce you to some valuable tools and techniques you can practice on an everyday basis. You’ll find more clarity, develop resilience, learn to accept and come out of your head. Because the most productive way to move forward is to learn to control what we can, and let go of what we can't.
In the workshop you will learn:
How stress and anxiety affect our physiology - followed by a short exercise to rebalance your nervous system.
Mindfulness explained in simple words, and why you might want to adopt some of its practices in your daily life – such as a quick body scan you can do at your desk to relax your body and refresh your mind.
Brain training - how to tame your worried and anxious mind and connect to the joy in your life. Daily practices to increase creativity and nourish your heart.
The talk will be followed by a short interactive Q&A session
