Laughter yoga is used all over the world in companies for their staff as the benefits for releasing stress and to help build strong teams and bonds with employees. Its good fun, engaging and makes you feel alive, stress free and relaxed. It works like this, one can exhale more carbon dioxide which oxygenates each and every cell of the body more especially the brain. This improves efficiency, mental focus and concentration. Clinical research conducted in Bangalore, India and the USA has proved that laughter lowers the level of stress hormones in the blood
Originated from India by a medical Dr Madan Kataria who worked in a local hospital in Mumbai and learnt that laughter is extremely beneficial to mental and physical health. He decided that more laughter was needed to improve health and cope with modern living and started a quest to find ways that laugher could be prescribed to patients and people all over the world who needed it. He developed a series of laughter exercises and developed techniques to create laughter yoga.
